Maithy Martinez, Digital Marketing Intern
Hi, I’m Maithy! I’m a senior at USC Upstate studying Communication with a concentration in Public Relations.
Before coming to Waypost, I spent a season with the Hub City Spartanburgers working in Community Relations and Guest Services where no two days ever looked the same. I helped with community programs, volunteer efforts, donation requests, email marketing, special events, and plenty of game-day operations along the way. One of my favorite parts was helping create the team’s summer reading program and getting to see it come to life with local students. Working in professional sports also gave me the chance to give back to the same community I grew up in, which is an experience I will always be thankful for.
As a Digital Marketing Intern at Waypost, I’m excited to grow in a field that’s still pretty new to me. I’m looking forward to learning from the team and discovering where my strengths and interests fit within the marketing world.
When I’m not working or in class, there’s a good chance I’m with friends, teaching percussion, watching Clemson/Packers football, or spending time with my dog Nani.
