Sara Gilstrap, Sales & Marketing Strategist

As a Sales & Marketing Strategist, my role is to partner with our clients as an extension of their team. I conduct in-depth research to identify new market opportunities and consumer preferences to support campaign creations. I set specific marketing goals that align with our clients’ overall direction and business goals while developing and maintaining digital campaigns. Digital marketing is constantly changing, and new technologies are always evolving. My goal is to keep Waypost on the forefront of new marketing techniques.

I started at Waypost in 2019, but I’ve been in marketing since 2007. Having spent over a decade in the corporate world, I've had the opportunity to work with some truly incredible people and I've also had the misfortune of working in some really terrible environments. So when I say I couldn't have asked for a better leadership team or better coworkers than the folks here at Waypost, I truly mean it. My favorite part of Waypost is the people. Our team connects well, and we feed off each other’s strengths.

Waypost is truly a team of trustworthy marketers. We strive to be good stewards of our clients’ time and resources. That means not selling them on a grandiose idea that they don't need or wasting their time, but instead ensuring that each strategy decision we make is based on our individual client’s need, not how many billable hours we want to see.

Beyond the walls of Waypost, I am heavily involved in my local community as a City Councilwoman for the City of Travelers Rest.
