
Sydney Hopkins, Marketing Coordinator
My professional journey begins with a strong academic foundation. I earned a master’s in communication from Clemson University after completing a bachelor’s degree in media studies at Radford University. My graduate studies focused on public relations and nonprofit communication, shaping my perspective on how brands and organizations can build authentic, long-term relationships with their audiences.
One of my proudest academic accomplishments was developing a donor engagement guide for a local nonprofit, designed to bridge traditional fundraising strategies with the values and behaviors of millennials.
I currently serve as a Marketing Coordinator at Waypost, where I previously worked as a Social Media Marketing Intern in 2025. I value Waypost’s collaborative, growth-driven environment and look forward to deepening my expertise across digital marketing, strategy, and content development. I also bring a unique perspective to Waypost through hands-on experience as a user-generated content creator for brands.
Outside of work, you can find me exploring new coffee shops (Freehand in Pendleton, SC is my all-time favorite), attending Pilates classes, working on diamond paintings or flow art, and spending quality time with good company.
